Action Against Hunger Conducts Field Visit to Monitor Nutrition and Water Programs at Noor El Marifaa Association

Noor Al-Maarefa Association received a delegation from Action Against Hunger during a field visit aimed at monitoring the progress of work and reviewing the mechanisms for implementing humanitarian programs at the Association. The visit focused in particular on activities supporting pregnant and lactating women, in addition to child malnutrition screening and the provision of safe drinking water to beneficiary families.
The visit was attended by Action Against Hunger’s representative, Ms. Kristina, who reviewed food and nutrition assistance distribution procedures, implementation mechanisms, and the application of child malnutrition measurements in accordance with international health standards, as well as the systems in place to ensure access to clean and safe water, helping to reduce health risks associated with water contamination.
The delegation commended Noor Al-Maarefa Association for its effective role in implementing health, nutrition, water, and sanitation programs, praising the high level of organization and coordination, and highlighting the positive impact of these integrated interventions on improving children’s health, supporting women, and strengthening family resilience amid the challenging humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.
For its part, Noor Al-Maarefa Association reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening partnerships with international organizations and continuing to develop integrated programs that respond to urgent needs and ensure safe and equitable access to essential services, particularly for children and women.
