In light of the severe humanitarian conditions facing the Gaza Strip, the education sector has suffered repeated disruptions that have directly affected students’ right to access safe and continuous education. With the destruction of many educational facilities, limited infrastructure, and increasing numbers of students, the need for emergency educational solutions has become urgent to ensure the continuity of learning in an appropriate environment.
Noor Al-Maarefa Association implemented the Project for the Construction of Temporary Educational Tents at Al-Orouba Girls’ School, which was destroyed during the war on the Gaza Strip. The project aims to provide safe and suitable learning spaces that enable female students to continue their education despite the current challenging conditions.
This project falls within the Association’s emergency education support programs, where the educational tents were designed to meet basic learning environment requirements and to help create a stable and motivating educational atmosphere, despite the extensive damage to the school’s facilities.
The project reflects Noor Al-Maarefa Association’s strong commitment to the right to education and its ongoing efforts to mitigate the impact of destruction and educational disruption, while supporting students’ resilience and empowering them to continue their educational journey.
