Noor Al-Maarefa Association announced the launch of the second phase of the “Sole Survivor” Project, which officially began in conjunction with the formation of a teaching committee comprising male and female teachers specialized in Arabic language and Mathematics.
This phase aims to implement a remedial educational program designed to compensate for learning loss and support key educational foundations, contributing to improving children’s academic performance and learning outcomes.
The project targets “sole survivor” children aged 6 to 12 years. During the introductory meeting of the second phase, a school bag was distributed to each child as part of efforts to support the educational process and encourage students’ participation.
The Project Coordinator explained that the second phase will include an integrated educational, psychological, and social support component, noting that Saturday will be a full study day, combining academic education, psychosocial support, empowerment activities, and additional life skills development tailored to the children’s needs.
Noor Al-Maarefa Association affirmed that the implementation of this phase aligns with its vision to provide comprehensive care for surviving children, supporting their educational recovery and psychological well-being within a safe and supportive learning environment.
